I was born and raised in Calgary and have been a resident of Airdrie for almost 20 years.  My incredible husband and I will be celebrating our 27th anniversary this year!  In my spare time I enjoy going for walks, exploring new parks with friends, playing with my furball cat, as well as crocheting and playing card games.  I love to travel and had the opportunity to have a few wonderful adventures including an Alaskan Cruise and a bus tour through the magnificent Emerald Isle.  Volunteering for Bethany Airdrie brought me much satisfaction, fulfilment and joy in being able to meet and visit the residents, ensuring they had fun and interaction while participating in various events.

Being the main caregiver for both my parents as they aged, until they passed, gave me a deep understanding of the challenges and stress that can, at times, take a toll on our own well-being. We would all like to spend as much quality time with our elders as we can, however that is not always possible, it is my goal to provide that support that is sometimes needed.

I believe our seniors still have so much to give and need as much compassion and companionship as anyone. There is still so much that they can give and teach us.  I look forward to being a friend to your loved one and hopefully be able to bring peace of mind to the family.
